Labor Advisory Commission discusses solutions for alleviating the cost of living

The Labor Consultative Commission (CCT), a body that brings together the government, employers and workers, will meet in an extraordinary session in the coming days to discuss measures that can alleviate the rising cost of living.

The information was shared, a few days ago in Maputo, by the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Margarida Talapa.

Talapa explained that it is urgent that the social partners assess the situation in order to take more appropriate measures.

According to the minister, the government is aware of the effects of the growing price increase on the corrosion of the purchasing power of Mozambican families. Therefore, in coordination with the entities that represent workers and employers, it is identifying concrete measures that will contribute to the relief of the cost of living.
