The National Electoral Commission (CNE) will release this week the list of political formations admitted to take part in the General Elections on October 9.
The CNE is currently analyzing the documents that have been received, according to spokesman Paulo Cuinica, quoted by the newspaper News.
"The process is ongoing. We have received some documents to correct errors where necessary and we are continuing to work," he said.
He said that there is a CNE team waiting for documentation from the Democratic Revolution (RD) party. In the meantime, when time runs out, the CNE will close its work with or without the RD's file.
The Constitutional Council ordered the reception of the RD party's candidacy after the CNE rejected it for alleged late submission.
It should be remembered that of the 43 political groupings registered, only 35 submitted their candidacies for the electoral race.
