Flights that had been scheduled for this Thursday and today in the cities of Nampula, Nacala, Quelimane and Pemba have been canceled due to the effects of tropical depression Gombe, characterized by heavy rains and strong winds affecting the provinces of Nampula and Zambezia.

"LAM - Mozambique Airlines informs that it has cancelled TM1506 that was to operate on the Maputo/Nampula/Beira/Maputo route, scheduled for today (yesterday), March 10, 2022," the note reads.

LAM also mentions that the flights on the Maputo/Beira route or vice versa, where the weather situation is favorable for the flight to take place, moved on Thursday evening, around 8:00 pm and in the opposite direction, from Beira to Maputo, at 10:15 pm.
