The National Meteorological Institute (INAM) reports that the rain falling in the central and northern areas will continue over the next 24 hours.

According to the INAM note, the rains will affect all the provinces in the central and northern areas and Inhambane, in the south of the country.

The rain will be moderate to heavy, locally very heavy, with gusts of wind and accompanied by severe thunderstorms.

INAM therefore recommends taking precautionary and safety measures in view of the risk associated with the meteorological phenomenon.
