According to the LanceMZ portal, the Mozambican Football Federation (FMF), represented by its president Feizal Sidat, and Mozambican coach Chiquinho Conde initialed a contract at the beginning of the night on Wednesday, August 28, allowing the coach to continue to hold the position of National Football Coach, specifically for the Mambas.

The agreement was signed after the two parties had cleared up all the aspects that were holding up the signing of this deal, which has been long awaited by Mozambican soccer lovers, the publication says.

It is known that the new contract will come into force this August and will last until May 2026, after the final phase of CAN-2025, which will take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026.
