At least 1.6 million boarding students will sit the final exams for grades 6, 10 and 12 in the country's primary and secondary schools by the end of the 2023 school year.

Quoted by "Notícias", Silvestre Dava, national director of Secondary Education, said that everything is being done to ensure that the process runs smoothly in the more than 15,000 centers set up for this purpose.

The Ministry of Education and Human Development (MINEDH) plans to assess 937,923 pupils throughout the country on the 20th and 21st of next year, mostly in Nampula province, with 163,155 candidates, followed by Zambézia and Maputo city, with 162,732 and 33,769 candidates respectively.
