Thirteen terrorists were killed in the early hours of yesterday morning at the administrative post of Mbau, in the district of Mocímboa da Praia, in Cabo Delgado.

Of the terrorists killed, seven were killed in combat at the headquarters of the Mbau administrative post and five in Limala village, reports Radio Mocambique.

The administrator of the Mocímboa da Praia district, Sérgio Cipriano, was also quoted by Radio station as saying that the terrorists had orchestrated two attacks at the same time, specifically at the headquarters of the Mbau administrative post and in the village of Limala.

He also called on the population to be vigilant and to report any movement of strange people in their communities to the competent authorities.
