Cabo Delgado/ONG suspende projectos em zonas alvos de ataques terroristas

Aga Khan, the non-governmental organization operating in Cabo Delgado, has suspended all development projects that were being implemented in the districts targeted by the terrorist attacks.

The suspension of the development projects was confirmed by the national director of the Aga Khan Foundation, Augusto Momade, according to the newspaper "O País".

Currently, the Aga Khan Foundation only works in the districts that are on the list of safe zones, with a new project known as Agrovida, which is being built with the support of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The Agrovida project is being implemented in Balama, Namuno, Montepuez, Chiúre, Ancuabe, Metuge, Mecufi and the city of Pemba, eight of the seventeen districts in Cabo Delgado that are currently considered to be at low risk of terrorist attacks.
