In the last five years, Cabo Delgado province has lost 2,323 classrooms due to terrorism and cyclones.  

The most worrying thing is that many of these infrastructures have not been built due to a lack of funds from the government.

In addition to the destruction of classrooms, Cabo Delgado continues to have many schools closed due to terrorism, one of the main problems that has been compromising the education sector in the province, according to "O País".

In order to speed up the process of rebuilding the destroyed school network in Cabo Delgado province, the government has been holding successive meetings with cooperation partners in the education sector to once again ask for financial aid.
