The town of Quissanga, in Cabo Delgado, is cut off from the rest of the province by land, due to the overflow of the Montepuez river and the consequent collapse of a bridge.
According to the Quissanga district administrator, Sidónio José, the roads linking the districts of Metuge and Quissanga and the headquarters of the Bilibiza administrative post to the National Road (EN380) are impassable.
