Confirmed! A young blogger has died after being shot by police while broadcasting live from the demonstrations in Ressano Garcia, Maputo province.

Information from reliable sources, confirmed by the family, indicates that young Mano Shottas did not resist his injuries and died yesterday (12) on the way to hospital.

 Shottas was a blogger known for documenting major events in real time. The young man was shot while reporting on an operation by the security forces, which included the use of tear gas in residential areas and vehicles, according to a video circulating on social media and filmed by himself.

In the video captured, the blogger showed scenes of great turmoil, with shots fired by the Mozambican police that caused panic among the civilians present.

In a dramatic moment, Shottas screamed as he was shot, dropping his cell phone. For a moment, the screen went dark, but the transmission continued, showing the blogger calling for help and reporting that he had been shot.
