The President of the Tax Authority, Aníbal Mbalango, urged operators in the extractive industry to increase their contribution to tax revenues from the development of the sector in order to boost the country's economy.
Anibal Mbalango launched this challenge on Monday morning (17) in Maputo, at the opening of the Extractive Sector Operators Tax Forum, dedicated to the mining and oil sectors.
He assured us that the AT intends to improve tax processes, so as to have a modern institution, guided by Responsibility, Integrity and Transparency.
The aim of the event was to maintain a space for interaction and technical collaboration between companies in the extractive sector and related public and private entities.
The event also discussed topics such as the impact of implementing SAF-T in the oil sector and transfer pricing in the extractive sector.
