Apple announced last week during the iPhone 14 launch event that it would also make iOS 16 available starting Monday (12), when the new operating system will be downloadable by all users of compatible models.
The new iOS update features a revamped design for iPhones, allowing more customization options for home screens.
In addition, Apple has also promised a smarter, more interactive system, and new security options.
This is the biggest iOS update after the release of version 15.4 in April of this year. The latest version of the system will come pre-installed in the new iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models.
By updating the operating system, users will be able to set up different lock screens (varying according to Focus mode), with clocks in alternative fonts and color palettes to the traditional Apple smartphone one.
In addition, the update will make it possible to add widgets to the lock screen - an option that varies according to the apps you have installed on your phone. Another new feature is that, in the new iOS 16, the iPhone notification bar will change: now all incoming messages and/or interactions will appear from the bottom up, to work more intuitively.
