Apple sets a new record and is close to being worth 3 "B" on the stock exchange

Apple technology reached all-time highs on the stock exchange, on a day when investors were paying close attention to the World Developers Conference 2023, an annual event where the tech giant presented new products, including new mixed reality glasses (virtual and real).

According to the Negócios newspaper, before the presentation of the long-awaited product - the result of seven years of research - the bonds rose 2% to 182.95 dollars, setting a new record, which narrowly surpassed the last peak of 182.94 dollars, reached in January 2022.

The event began with the presentation of the new MacBook. However, the great expectation was around the unveiling of the mixed reality glasses, as this was the first launch of a new product category since the Apple Watch nine years ago.

After the presentation of these glasses - dubbed Apple Vision Pro and with a retail price in the US of 3,499 dollars, the shares reversed the trend, falling almost 2% to 179.04 dollars.

Even so, the company remains close to reaching a market capitalization of 3 billion dollars, and is currently worth 2.87 billion dollars on the stock exchange. Since the beginning of the year, shares in the company led by Tim Cook have risen by around 40%, in line with the trend in technology.

In the same period, the tech Nasdaq rose by more than 26% while the Standard & Poor's 500 (S&P 500) rose by approximately 11%.
