An alleged agent of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM), infiltrated among the participants of the ANAMOLA party march, was surprised by the population carrying a firearm and, according to reports, was targeting the leader of the movement, MC Bandeira.
The episode took place on Sunday (06) in Nacala-Porto, Nampula province, but the quick intervention of the party members themselves prevented a greater tragedy.
According to a post on the social network Facebook, the attack on MC Bandeira is yet another mirror of the worrying reality in the country: "growing political intolerance".
"The regime believes that by eliminating those who make noise, those who influence the masses, the stubborn, the faces of the struggle, the leaders... it will weaken the movement," he adds, warning that "the more it kills and persecutes, the more it encourages the masses to join the struggle."
