Amora remain intransigent and have turned down a third bid from Sporting for Geny Catamo. The Liga 3 club own 75% of the winger's economic rights and are not willing to negotiate at any price because, at this stage, they know the player has performed well and has interested parties.
Last weekend, Sporting tried to reach an agreement to buy the lions' winger, but Amora again demanded five million euros.
Geny has a contract with the Portuguese champions until June 30, 2028 and a termination clause of 60 million euros. Before this imbroglio, the board chaired by Frederico Varandas had the opportunity to resolve the case, but failed to do so.
