Nine people lost their lives as a result of a road accident on Wednesday night involving a semi-collective passenger transport and a truck in the Mapapa area, Chókwè district, Gaza province.
In addition to the dead, there are also two seriously injured people who have been evacuated to Xai-Xai Provincial Hospital.
According to the police authorities, the accident was caused by a lorry carrying sugar cane cutting the right of way and hitting the semi-bus that was heading towards Macia-Chókwè.
The nine people died at the scene of the accident, seven adults and two children (a boy and a girl).
