The "President of the Shadow Government", Venâncio Mondlane, is willing to work with the now official "rival" government formed by Daniel Chapo, President of the Republic of Mozambique.
Cited by BBCMondlane noted that this depends on Chapo, who now has a window of opportunity to create the conditions for a dialog between the two. He warned that, contrary to this idea, the demonstrations would not stop.
"If he has a genuine interest in working with me, he has the chance to invite me to the dialog table," he said.
In fact, Mondlane wants his demands to be met and, from there, to move towards the political stabilization of the country.
À BBCHe said that he had suspended the post-election protests during Chapo's 100 days in office to give him room to implement "his parallel measures".
