Today in Maputo, the President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, is swearing in the governors of the provinces elected in the last elections, held on October 9, 2024.

After taking office, the governors will have a meeting with the Head of State, according to a press release from the Presidency.

Later today, the President will receive the heads of Mozambique's diplomatic and consular missions abroad.
