Yesterday (15), the multinational ENI sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, from Rome, the capital of Italy, on his election to office in the October 9, 2024 ballot.

In the document, ENI's CEO, Claudio Descalsi, reaffirms ENI's commitment to further strengthening collaboration and projecting Mozambique onto the global Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) stage and expanding strategic partnerships through the implementation of the Coral Norte FLNG project in the Rovuma Basin.

"Rest assured that our aim is to support Mozambique's long-term development trajectory through local content initiatives and accelerating the country's energy transition with our vegetable oil initiative and forestry projects," the document quoted by "Notícias" indicates.

On the occasion of the investiture, Descalsi wished the Head of State "good health and much success in fulfilling his responsibilities, and to the people of Mozambique, we extend wishes for peace, stability and prosperity".
