A gold mine collapsed in the early hours of this morning in the district of Gondola, Manica province, killing one person and burying at least 10 miners.

The victim was rescued alive, but died on the way to the local health unit, according to "Notícias."

The rescue teams are mobilizing human and material resources to carry out excavations in order to rescue the buried miners.
