Talapa is the third woman in a row proposed by Frelimo to lead Parliament. Her election is almost guaranteed, since her caucus holds the largest number of seats.

PODEMOS nominated Fernando Tomé José to be second vice-president of Parliament, as well as Sebastião Avelino Mussanhane as head of the caucus and Rute Venâncio Manjate as vice-president.
The caucus' rapporteur is Elísio Calisto Muaquina, the spokesperson could be Ivandro Jordão Massingue and Carlos Tembe, Atija Mussa and Almério Tchambule could be part of the Standing Committee.
