The presidential candidate for the PODEMOS party, Venâncio Mondlane, returned to social media this Thursday (28), to indicate what is next in his plan to protest against the election results of October 9.
Speaking live from his Facebook page to his supporters, Venâncio Mondlane called on his followers to flood the email inbox of the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, asking for the resignation of the head of the PRM, Bernardino Rafael.
"Tomorrow (today), there will be 50,000 messages in the President of the Republic's inbox demanding the immediate and unconditional dismissal of the general commander of the police, Bernardino Rafael," said Mondlane.
The PODEMOS presidential candidate also addressed his absence from last Tuesday's meeting between Filipe Nyusi and the presidential candidates, inviting the Mozambican head of state to an online conversation.
"There are many different hypotheses and alternatives for us to talk about," Mondlane added.
With regard to the election results, the PODEMOS-backed candidate speaks of 60% fake notices and promises that the demonstrations will continue.
"We discovered that 60% of the notices that the CNE used to give the 70% to Frelimo were false. And in the 40% of real notices, we won the election with 53% of votes," he said.
