The PODEMOS presidential candidate, Venâncio Mondlane, has announced three more days of demonstrations starting tomorrow, this time using demand posters as a way of showing love for the country and the well-being of all Mozambicans..
This is the third stage of the fourth round of post-election demonstrations that have been taking place in the country since mid-October.
Speaking this afternoon at yet another live On his Facebook page, Venâncio Mondlane called for all types of vehicles to be brought to a standstill during the three days of demonstrations, displaying signs from 8 a.m. until 3.30 p.m., regardless of the location, as a way of protesting against the situation in Mozambique.
"The posters should be put up on cars, bicycles, t-shirts and T-shirts. It doesn't matter where you are, the idea is to turn off the car engine at 8am and go to your workplace," said Mondlane, adding that at 4pm, after the national anthem, the honking will resume.
According to Venâncio Mondlane, theft and corruption continue in the state. "So we want to put an end to all this. We want to put an end to the contempt of the Frelimo government".
"We ask the Mozambican people for a lot of patience and resistance. Sacrifice is needed for the problems to be resolved," he reiterated.
At the end, the PODEMOS presidential candidate also announced that the paneladas would resume at 9 p.m., making it clear that everyone should do them inside their own homes.
