The Constitutional Council (CC) has decided to dismiss a set of appeals filed by the MDM and PODEMOS parties in the districts of Ilê and Morrumbala, in Zambézia, and Marromeu, in Sofala, for lack of a prior challenge, lack of evidence, among other reasons..

According to a Sunday newspaperIn the case of PODEMOS, one of the CC's refusals is related to the fact that the Judicial Court of the District of Morrumbala did not uphold its claim to accept its candidate delegates in that district.

In the same party's appeal, sent from the Ile district, the CC states that there is a lack of elements for the appeal to be admissible.

In the Marromeu district, the CC also dismissed the MDM's appeal, which complained about alleged irregularities at several polling stations, but the CC believes that there was a lack of evidence.
