The National Roads Administration (ANE) in Niassa will deploy five contractors on roads considered to be at risk of damage during this rainy season.

These are the Cuamba/Etatara, Cuamba/Mecanhelas, Marrupa/Mecula, Mussa/Muembe/Mavago and Msawize/Matondovela roads.

Quoted by Rádio Moçambique, the delegate of the National Roads Administration (ANE) in Niassa, Oreste Zezela, says that on each highway, the sector has already mapped the areas at risk of destruction from the rain.

The source said that these are contractors who have large-scale road maintenance equipment and are able to intervene in the event of access roads being cut.
