The continuity of Ossufo Momade as president of Renamo will be debated at a forum of the political formation itself, according to spokesman Marcial Macome.

This is the reaction to the protests by several members of the political formation, including those who sit on its National Council. They are demanding Momade's immediate resignation in the hope of restoring the party's "good name".

According to Macome, the party is now focused on analyzing the electoral process, on which he promised that the party will present its opinion soon.

Nevertheless, he recognized that all members of the political formation are free to express their position, but decisions are made in appropriate situations.
