Nova Democracia (ND) and Renamo filed an appeal today at the Tete City Judicial Court to challenge the results of the intermediate tabulation announced yesterday by the District Electoral Commission (CDE) in the provincial capital..
According to a Sunday newspaperIn the document, ND exposed the lack of 137 public notices for the legislative elections, then questioned where the results announced were drawn from, given the lack of these documents, considering that the city had 319 polling stations.
For her part, Renamo's representative, Arnéssi Gabriel, explained that her party's appeal is also linked to the failure to launch the 137 notices, detailing that on the day of the centralization of data, the representatives of the political parties saw that there were 137 notices missing for the legislative elections, because they had finished launching data when they had only processed 182 tables out of the 319 that the city has.
