The country held its 7th General Election and 4th Provincial Assembly Election 2024 on October 9. More than 17 million voters were expected at polling stations, but not all of them voted.

The District Election Commissions and the Provincial Election Commissions have already released the preliminary results. O MZNews has monitored the results and makes them available to you. Some data will still be updated.

Here, we only publish the results of the main contenders and their parties: Lutero Simango, from the Democratic Movement of Mozambique (MDM); Daniel Chapo, from Frelimo; Venâncio Mondlane, supported by Podemos; and Ossufo Momade, from Renamo.
