The electoral campaign for the general elections on October 9 ended yesterday throughout the country.

Over the course of those 43 days, the presidential candidates traveled the length and breadth of the country selling their respective manifestos to potential voters in order to win votes.

Frelimo's presidential candidate, Daniel Chapo, closed his campaign on Sunday afternoon in the city of Matola, Maputo province.

Renamo's presidential candidate, Ossufo Momade, ended his campaign in the city of Matola, Maputo province, specifically in the T3 neighborhood,

Presidential candidate Venâncio Mondlane ended his campaign in the district of Murrupula, in Nampula province, where he asked for votes and promised to build a cashew nut processing factory and improve the water supply system.

Presidential candidate Lutero Simango ended his election campaign in Maputo City, reiterating that his government will treat all Mozambicans equally.
