The presidential candidate of the Mozambique Democratic Movement (MDM), Lutero Simango, has returned to Zambezia province to continue his vote hunting activities.
To voters in the city of Quelimane, he promised to industrialize the province in order to improve the living conditions of the population. In Simango's strategy, the province's wealth must be transformed into business opportunities.
"Zambezia province has many resources and riches that should generate jobs and business for the population," he said, pledging to create industries.
As an example, he said that in his cycle of government, wood should only be exported as a finished resource.
On the other hand, he said he would work to reduce fuel and food prices by stabilizing prices and reviving the productive sector.
He also said that he would do everything he could to prevent food imports, focusing his efforts on promoting agriculture and other key sectors for the country's development.
