The National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) predicts intense heat, characterized by very hot and humid weather with maximum temperatures that could vary from 36 to 39 degrees Celsius.

The heat wave will occur this Thursday in the provinces of Maputo and Gaza.

In addition, strong gusty winds, thunderstorms and local showers are forecast for the end of the day.

In view of the discomfort caused by the intense heat, INAM recommends taking precautionary and safety measures.
