The funeral ceremonies for Mozambican musician Dilon Ndjindji will be held on Saturday in the town of Marracuene, his hometown, according to a family source.
Ndjindji lost his life at the age of 97 to illness in the early hours of yesterday morning, Wednesday (18), in Maputo, the victim of a lung infection.
The musician leaves an important musical legacy that immortalizes him.
Dilon Ndjindji is considered the king of marrabenta, a rhythm created during colonial times in Mozambique and popularized by various musicians.
