The Minister of Education and Human Development, Carmelita Namashulita, said on Tuesday that there are parents who teach their children corruption.
The head of one of the country's most problematic sectors explains that some of these parents spend the whole year without knowing the door to their child's classroom, but when their child fails, they negotiate to reverse the result.
"In our schools, corruption is practiced. Sometimes we tolerate it when a boy negotiates his grade. These actions seem small, but then they grow. They instill in the boy that by negotiating, he can win or he can fulfill his intentions," said Namashulua.
More aggravating, for the minister, is the existence of parents and guardians who teach their children such acts. She stressed that these actions must also be severely combated.
