The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, will be paying an official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from September 8 to 10, at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart, To Lam.

According to Notícias online, during the visit the Head of State will hold talks with the President of Lam to exchange views on strengthening and deepening the historic relations of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between Mozambique and Vietnam.

The President's agenda also includes meetings with the Prime Minister of that Asian country, visits to places of political, social and economic interest, as well as with businessmen with investment interests in Mozambique.

This is President Nyusi's first official visit to Vietnam.
