The Democratic Alliance Coalition (CAD) decided, at the start of the 45-day electoral campaign, to march through the main avenues of the city of Nampula, in northern Mozambique.
The march, according to a NewsThe ceremony, which began in front of the Nampula Provincial Assembly, headed for the Matchedje field, the place chosen to host the official ceremony.
As they march through the city's streets, CAD members and sympathizers sing hymns extolling the figure of the candidate they support in the race for President of the Republic, Venâncio Mondlane.
According to the provincial secretary of this political coalition, Antonieta da Conceição, the official moment, scheduled for this afternoon, will be highlighted by music, dancing and prayers by different religious denominations.
It should be remembered that the Constitutional Council (CC) excluded the Democratic Alliance Coalition (CAD), which supported Venâncio Mondlane's presidential candidacy, from the October 9 general elections.
In the ruling, in response to the appeal filed by the CAD on the exclusion of the candidacy previously decided by the National Electoral Commission (CNE), the CC declared null and void the CNE's decision of May 9, which accepted the registration of the Democratic Alliance Coalition for electoral purposes.
