The sixth day of competition at the Olympic Games in Paris, France, was marked by the elimination of Mozambican athlete Alcinda Panguana.

Panguana was beaten 5-0 by China's Liu Yang in the 66 kg round of 16. This means that the five judges gave the Chinese boxer the win.

In the fight against the world champion, the Mozambican boxer had a first round in which the Chinese boxer managed to see each of the judges award 10 points.

And so it was that Alcinda Panguana was eliminated with a heavy score of 5-0 by unanimous decision of the jury and bid farewell to her first participation in the Olympic Games.

In the other fight involving a boxer from the Palops, Cape Verde's Ivanuza Morreira lost 3-2 to Belgium's Oshin Derieuw.
