PR dirige lançamento oficial das operações marítimas da CFM Logistics

This Saturday, the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, officially launched the maritime operations of CFM Logistics at the port of Nacala, in Nampula province.

The ceremony will mark the start of the activities of CFM Logistics, which is taking over the transport, maritime and rail services, logistics and storage activities in the oil and gas industry in the country, according to RM.

The company will become involved in transportation, maritime and rail services, logistics and storage in the country's oil and gas industry.

The Port of Nacala is located at the southern end of Bengo Bay and, due to the depth of its waters, it has exceptional navigability conditions, which allows ships to enter/exit without draught limitation, 24 hours a day, and does not require dredging.

These characteristics make it the largest natural deep-water port on the east coast of Africa.
The Port of Nacala currently has a general cargo terminal capable of handling 2 million tons annually. (RM)
