The electricity supply in Cabo Delgado has now been restored, one day after the blackout caused by an anomaly in the high-voltage network.
The information was given to Rádio Moçambique this morning by the Director of Electricidade de Moçambique-Área ao Serviço ao Cliente de Pemba, Herminio Hassamo.
The broadcaster Hassamo quoted him as saying that the power supply in Cabo Delgado province was re-established in the early hours of this morning as a result of various operations.
