It's almost a given and it's news in “all” the newspapers. The Mozambican Football Federation (FMF) is in the process of renewing the contract of Chiquinho Conde, the current national coach of the "Mambas".
According to Desafio newspaper, "Mister" Chiquinho Conde's new contract runs until 2026, when the CAN-2025, to be organized by Morocco, will end.
However, according to the newspaper, it will be based on objectives, with a clause that provides for automatic termination if it becomes mathematically impossible for the "Mambas" to qualify for the CAN 2025.
The contract also includes clauses that better regulate the relationship between the two parties, especially with regard to preserving the image of both the coach and the federation, given the recent episodes that undermined the working relationship between Faizal and Conde.
It should be remembered that Chiquinho Conde was accused by the President of the FMF of violating his employment contract by making accusations against his "employer" in public and on social media, and claiming only for himself and the players the credit for the Mambas' victories, leaving out "all the collective work".
