Jennifer "Chude" Mondlane, the eldest daughter of Eduardo Mondlane, the founder of Frelimo, died of an illness at the age of 66.

According to the newspaper NewsChude Mondlane was in a clinic in neighboring South Africa.

With a degree in Anthropology and African Studies, she made a name for herself in the arts as a singer, having also studied modern dance and classical ballet.
