Sheila Wilson, a journalist with the Center for Democracy and Human Rights (CDD) and human rights defender, is now free.
Sheila Wilson was kidnapped yesterday afternoon by PRM officers and transported from under the seat of the Mahindra to the fourth police station where she spent the night.
Still in a state of shock, the journalist said that during the kidnapping she had received several threats from the police. According to her, at the police station she was only told that she was being held because of "superior orders", without mentioning who those superior orders were.
The journalist managed to recover her belongings, but the cell phone she used to cover the demonstrations is still in the police's possession.
