Hélder Armando was presented this Thursday as the new Director of Banco de Moçambique (BM), Beira Branch, Sofala Province.

The presentation was made by Gertrudes Adolfo Tovela, Administrator of the WB, during a courtesy meeting with the Secretary of State in the province, Cecília Chamutota.

The appointment of the new Director comes as part of the WB's policy of staff rotation.

For Chamutota, the Bank of Mozambique is an institution with a leading role in the state's financial operations, citing the close coordination of its work with the government.
