SADC to continue supporting Mozambique in the fight against terrorism

The President-in-Office of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), reiterates the organization's willingness to continue supporting Mozambique in the fight against terrorism in Cabo Delgado.

Angolan statesman João Lourenço was quoted by Radio Mocambique as saying that terrorism in Cabo Delgado, including in the Democratic Republic of Congo, jeopardizes the development efforts of the countries in the SADC region.

The President-in-Office of the Southern African Development Community, João Lourenço, was speaking this Sunday at the swearing-in ceremony of the President of the Comoros, Azali Assumane, who was re-elected for another term. (RM)
