On Wednesday and Thursday, the government is going to Parliament to answer questions posed by the three parliamentary benches on various current political, economic and socio-cultural issues in the country.
According to the newspaper "The Country"The Frelimo parliamentary group wants to know from the government, among other things, about the state of play regarding promotions, progressions, career changes and the payment of overtime and second class pay to teachers.
For its part, Renamo's parliamentary caucus wants the executive, among other things, to explain "what logic the government is following when it reintroduces VAT on basic products, knowing that this will cost the citizen's pocket."
As for the Democratic Movement of Mozambique (MDM), in the chapter on assistance to the population and measures to mitigate the damaging effects of the floods, it wants to know from the government "the short-term strategy for improving sanitation and water drainage services in order to definitively resolve what has been happening during the rainy periods".
