The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, yesterday congratulated the Prime Minister of the Portuguese Republic, Luís Filipe Montenegro Cardoso de Morais Esteves, on his appointment as Prime Minister of the Portuguese Republic.

"I am sure that during your mandate we will continue to consolidate our relations of friendship and cooperation, opening up new perspectives and priorities in areas of mutual interest for the well-being of our peoples," reads the message from the Mozambican statesman.

In his letter, Filipe Nyusi demonstrates his openness and willingness to work with Portugal and, in particular, with his government, both to deepen bilateral relations and multilateral relations within the framework of international organizations.
