The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, received Renamo leader Ossufo Momade yesterday (07) in an audience at the Office of the President, during which the parties took the opportunity to exchange views on different matters of national interest.
According to a note from the Presidency of the Republic, the two leaders discussed the social and political situation in the country, with emphasis on the fight against terrorism in Cabo Delgado province and the current situation of the reintegration process of the former Renamo guerrillas.
"The head of state and the Renamo leader considered the process to be positive, with over 74% of pensions fixed and sent for the Administrative Court's approval, of which 34% are already receiving their pensions," the statement reads.
