Around one hundred and twenty-five thousand hectares of various crops have been completely lost due to insufficient rainfall and pests that have affected agricultural production fields in the southern districts of Tete province.
The scenario affects more than 100,000 producers, according to the head of the Department of Agriculture and Food Security at the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Fisheries, António Mourinho, interviewed by Rádio Moçambique.
