Mozambican full-back Geny Catamo, who returned to Sporting after the CAN, came on in the 57th minute and scored a great goal in the 64th minute (eight minutes later). Catamo made it 6-0 for Sporting against Casa Pia.
It was the Mozambican winger's first goal in Alvalade. "It's very different, with the Sporting fans watching... It's a source of pride to represent a great club like Sporting. There are no words for scoring at home, it's about enjoying the moment. We've been doing it in training, I didn't have to make it easy and I was happy," said Catamo Sporting TV, quoted by Bola, who highlighted "the great response" to the defeat in the League Cup and added: "We had chances to do more."
Finally, Mozambique's participation in the CAN: "Mixed emotions. Happy for the performance, unhappy because we didn't achieve more. Next CAN we'll be there!"
