Man sentenced to 808 years for murdering 16 foreigners

A Guatemalan court on Monday sentenced a man accused of being a drug lord to 808 years in prison for the massacre of 15 Nicaraguans and a Dutchman in 2008, a judicial source said.

According to Correio da Manhã, the court in Guatemala City imposed the sentence on Rigoberto Danilo Morales after finding him guilty of taking part in the killings.

In 2016, another alleged leader of a drug trafficking network, Marvin Montiel Marin, was also sentenced to a long prison term for the same massacre.
